Day 2/365 - Ignore the poison. Learn to recognise them and avoid.

"People who tell you it cannot be done almost always are UNSUCCESSFUL people, are strictly average or mediocre at best in terms of accomplishment. The opinions of these people can be poison" - The Magic of Thinking BIG, David J Schwartz, PhD.

It's hard. Business is hard. The road to success is hard. The promise of the Multi Level Marketing dream to have ultimate time freedom and exponential income are results of much hard labour. The emphasis is the hard work involved, to authentically match the needs of the market to products that Nu Skin produces  and to coach people to a healthier wellness lifestyle.

Everyone wants the fruits of labour. Few would plant and farm. Everyone wants it easy. Unfortunately, there are no easy paths to better beauty, health, income or freedom. Leveraged, maybe. Simple steps, yes. Easy? It only gets easier when the habits are cultivated or when we get better at what we do.

I am beginning to see that this MLM game is a simple needs matching and determination management. Nu Skin as a company are doing their part to innovate on the best products available to us. The incentives, conventions, marketing materials, education.. everything from a product and company perspective. Our job as brand ambassadors are to be the difference demonstrated and coach people to achieve the same success.

The rules of success applies everywhere. If one has poor work ethics, he would never succeed in life. What we put in is what we get back. Demand the best from ourselves and we will attract the best quality people.

I guess the saddest realization I have obtained in my journey is that we cannot change people who refuse to change. We cannot help people who refuse help. We cannot show people what they refuse to see regardless how wonderful Nu Skin products are or how much of a leverage the business can be given the same amount of time and effort put in as one would in their job. It's either they want it or they dont. Worst is trying to "fix" a bad match. Just wish them well and move on to the next person who will appreciate what we have to offer.

The unfortunate truth about MLM business is that we would come to a point where we realize the true colors of the friends we surround ourselves with. Jim Rohn said "we are as good as the 5 people we surround ourselves most with", right? We attract people with the same values we have so the even harder truth is when we realize how much we need to change the person we are to someone better.

I truly enjoy my Nu Skin business because it is a self-reflection business that allows me to discover and create the best version of me. I attract who I am. The better I am, the better my clients and business partners will be. If I want better clients and business partners, then I would have to become better, too. See how this daisy chain works? Pretty hard when we're starting out. It gets more fun when we get the hang of it. 😄

While you're embarking on your journey to MLM success, keep your energy high. There are a lot of dream killers out there, waiting to shatter your confidence and grow all your fears and self-doubts. It is simply because they themselves are small. They do not believe that they can achieve unconventional returns nor would they ever put in the required effort needed for success to mature. Lazy, greedy, selfish, ignorant, stupid, know-it-alls are 6 types of values we avoid like plague. Worst are those who have all 6 traits.

Guard your self-confidence. Build it, grow it, put in the necessary disciplines of work. Success is imminent to those who seek it. Those who will authentically and responsibly put in the most daily consistent and constant effort in the right direction with integrity to enrich others and themselves would definitely achieve uncommon success and ultimate freedom.

I wish you well. May all beautiful things find its way to you.
