Real People, Real Results - Joyce's Story (Week 1)
Say Hello to Joyce, our Ravissante client in her early thirties. Joyce began her Real People, Real Result program on 10 February 2012. Joyce has a fairly good lifestyle and diet. She does mild exercise like Yoga on a regular basis, sleeps 7-9 hours a day, does not smoke or drink.
Joyce has with very dry and sensitive skin resulting in patches of redness on her forehead, and cheeks. She has open pores, black heads and white heads on her forehead, nose and chin; quite a common condition for Asian skin because of our hot and humid weather. Her skin elasticity is good, but her hydration levels are rather severe. Her skin is also starting to show signs of aging, with laugh lines and fine lines under her eyes and visibility of eye bags.
Our desired results are to first and foremost, balance the dryness and sensitivities of her skin; and then work on improving her hydration levels and delay aging tendencies. To combat extremely dry, flaky, irritated and chapped skin, Ravissante recommends that she uses a star product from Ella Bache’s Nourishing range (Nutri Action); called Cream Intex (Product No 21142, 50ml, RM142).

Cleaners and toners are the basic 3-steps in any beauty ritual. For her daily cleanser and toner, we recommend Ella Bache’s Cocoon Cleansing Milk, Chiffon Cleansing Cream and Austral Gel Toner. We especially like the Ella Bache's Austral Gel Toner because it helps increase cellular energy and boosts cellular metabolism (increase in the AMPc); invigorating cells in the morning to receive skin care products and revives tired skin in the evening. As her moisturizers, we recommend Cream Intex as her night cream; and Cream Tomate for day.
We also recommend that for the next 8 weeks, she stop using makeup, try to stay out of direct afternoon sunlight and avoid extreme changes in temperature to reduce irritation and improve skin texture. We highly encourage her to use Ella Bache’s SPF 50 in the morning to protect her skin from harmful UV rays, and as replacement to makeup, we recommend Ella Bache's Elixir d'Eclat Tomate, our Radiance Elixir for that instant radiance booster foundation to brighten and lighten up deoxygenated skin.
As for her Ravissante professional facial treatment, we recommended Ravissante Intensive Soothing Facial (90 minutes, RM250). This facial is suitable for dry and sensitive skins.
To target her dry and malnourished skin, we used Cream Intex for her massage cream. When plunged into a nutritional bath, the skin reconstructs. Skin is regenerated, moisturised, and the skin barrier reinforced, thanks to the supply of lipids. For her mask, we used Cream Mask; a nourishing mask that contains Lanoline, and does not dry out. This mask will help soften the epidermis, leaving it supple. Cream Mask also contains Menthol, extracted from the essence of mint to refresh the epidermis with an astringent effect, leaving skin with a very calming feeling.
Her results? Absolutely Ravissante.
