A new year, a new me.
It has been a silent year from blogging. The much awaited 2020 is finally here. I kicked it off by watching this remarkable video by Sandie Tillotson at the recent Nu Skin Global Convention 2019. The talk - "Live a Life Without Limit"
I highly recommend this video to every starting entrepreneur, especially if you have chosen to be a Nu Skin entrepreneur. It encompasses her journey from 1984 till the success of a global billion dollar company it is today, leading the anti-aging market with stellar products and remarkable successes.
There are many lessons here. Her grit and determination, her dreams and passions, her upbringing of abundance, the many decisions and risks taken, and her motivation, by Love, of course. I feel really blessed that Sandie has left us a legacy. Her little dream 35 years ago, and all the hard work made to allow us to have this fantastic business platform of integrity with innovative products which are all of the good none of the bad.
In Nu Skin, we are the difference demonstrated. Before we go out and share the amazing opportunity, it is important to be a testimonial. Don't need to rush the process. The results will come when we put in the necessary actions in the right direction. Are we here to make a meaningful connection? Would our presence give more value to the lives we touch? Would the person we are engaging have a deep connection to change their lives for the better?
What I learnt from all these years of doing business is that it is easy to buy, harder to use - diligently and consistently. We are spoilt by all the "fast food" and speed of things in today's world that we forget that change takes time. Do not be fooled by all the fast results you see in one week from all the "wonderful" testimonials floating online, instead focus on getting consistent in the daily change of habits for long lasting changes.
It starts with me. That is the power of one. Never underestimate what can be achieved in the long run.
