Hazey Monday Blues
The haze is back in Malaysia; seems like an annual event, if you ask us. Visibility is low and apparently, PSI 700++ in certain areas! Kuala Lumpur looks like an enchanted forest; dusty, musky and bad for health!
How can the haze impact our health you ask?
1. Eye inflammation - if you are sensitive towards smoke; its like being in an oven! Stay indoors and protect your eyes!
2. Nasal and throat irritation - when you breathe in low quality air, your nasal gets irritated and produces mucus. Those who have sinus problems, best wear a mask or just stay indoors.
3. Lung irritation - those with lung, heart or severe asthmatic problems might have difficulty breathing. Keep an air purifier at home, and wear a mask if you absolutely need to go outdoors!
Senior citizens and children would be most affected by the haze. School is out for today! So best be safe than be sorry!
